Porte 12

A restaurant design inspired by its former textile and lingerie atelier setting

Interiors

Paris, France

Area: 90m2

Using the former lingerie workshop heritage of the original building, we developed an interior concept that celebrates culinary artistry and creativity in the modern age. We introduced natural materials, rich tones and curated furniture pieces together with an iconic ‘cloud of lights’ installation that nods to the curves and shapes of lingerie. The end result is a serene, intimate and elegant restaurant space that maintains a compelling dialogue with the origins of its building.

Porte 12’s precise and textured design is an interpretation of the sleek and exacting cuisine of chef Vincent Crepel’s restaurant.

Natural materials and rich tones merge with existing patina whilst Ligne Roset’s furniture pieces dialogue with the evocative copper braces and our signature installation – a cloud of lights.

We devised a crafted design playing with the former lingerie workshop heritage of the site.

Entering through the mirrored lobby, halos of the cloud of lights guide guests into the main room, flooded with coppery light reflections and views towards the open kitchen.
