We are redefining the role of Newhaven Fort to further its role as a catalyst for a wider historical, commercial and environmental improvement of the area.
Our approach will maintain the spatial and historical qualities of the site, preserving this heritage and revealing it to the public. Through a cultural programme bringing together permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as occasional outdoor events, the buildings and the landscape are given new functions to become an exceptional place again.
Our strategy ensures that the qualities of this heritage asset are maintained and built upon, and continue to be appreciated by users and the wider community.
