NAME a Memory

Back when I was five, I watched in awe as builders began construction on my grandmother’s country house. In my eyes, it was simply that easy to build a house. While we had no Lego Bricks or other fascinating child-friendly paraphernalia, we had cardboard, scissors and glue. It brought me pure joy to construct my doll house from boxes and other improvised materials. It gave my fantasy the liberty to create just about anything I wanted, and I loved how these creations stood out and weren’t like anyone else’s. Gradually with time and bursts of creativity, those cardboards, scissors and glue made way for wood, hammer and nails. And gradually with time I found my passion in the creation and design of any given space.

NAME a City

Odessa, Ukraine. A cultural centre and, as the locals would call it, a separate state. The city is full of charm with its ancient courtyards and modern buildings that seem to be competing for the best sea view. With spectacles of the historic centre of the city, tenderness of the coast and a vast variety of public spaces with thoughtful and sophisticated interiors, my Odessa will not leave anyone indifferent.

NAME a Quote

“The road will be mastered by walking.” - Indian Literature

NAME a Building

TThe Sagrada Familia is Gaudi’s masterpiece and the most recognizable element of the Barcelona skyline. Undoubtedly at that era in technology, buildings are a composition of complex structures and interesting materials; unique and flawless in their own way however, what remains a mystery to me is how Antonio Gaudi was able to construct such a complex and unique work of art in the conditions of the 19th century.

NAME a Material

Wood. As a support structure or as decoration, wood leaves plenty of room for choice. It doesn’t need to pretend. Nothing fills a space with warmth like wood in the caring hands of an architect.
